Job Site / Ergonomic Analysis

This is an onsite visit to your facility to evaluate the ergonomic status of a particular job.  A written report is provided giving a description of the essential functions of the job, the physical demand levels, environmental issues, maximum forces required to perform the job, coupling angles, repetitive stress factors, cognitive assessment, lifting stresses, work pace, infrequent tasks and much more.

This is accomplished by:

1. A visit to the workplace observing the job(s) of concern.  This may be related to recurring complaints by employees or an area of concern for the employer due to excessive injury rates.

2. Observation of tasks, interaction with key personnel and measurement of physical demands typically occur during the onsite visit.

Benefits of On-site Evaluations:

- A written job description will provide specific data necessary for a post offer screening and a fit for duty evaluation.

- Written recommendations for specific ergonomic issues are addressed in the report.

- Gives other treating providers objective data and a knowledgeable basis for accurate return to work restrictions.

- Documents jobsite for the Human Resources and Safety Departments.
